Every website inquiry lands in a Google Sheet, alerts your team and gets a reply.

Small Zapier or Make + Google Sheets builds for independent U.S. bookkeeping and tax-prep firms with 1–10 staff. Small agencies welcome too.

What it does

One small build that keeps website inquiries from getting lost in a busy inbox.

  1. Website inquiry form with name, email, business type, service needed and message fields

    Form

Your website form collects name, email, business type, service needed and a short message.

  2. Google Sheet of inquiries with source, timestamp and status columns

    Sheet row

A new row lands in a Google Sheet with source, timestamp and a status dropdown.

  3. Alert email to the firm summarizing a new website inquiry

    Alert

Your firm gets an alert by email or Slack, so someone owns the inquiry right away.

  4. Auto-reply email telling the sender what happens next

    Auto-reply

The sender gets a confirmation email explaining what happens next.

The demo uses fictional data. Every name, email and firm in it is made up.

Captioned walkthrough, about 23 seconds. Demo with fictional data.

How it works (no call)

  1. 1Scoping form. Answer 5 short questions about your form, your tools and who should get alerts. Open the form.
  2. 2Captioned walkthrough. You get a short captioned walkthrough showing how the build would work for your firm.
  3. 3Fixed-price proposal. You get a written proposal with one fixed price and the scope spelled out. Say yes, ask questions by email, or pass.

Pricing

Fixed price quoted after the scoping form.

No hourly billing and no surprise add-ons. The price in the proposal is the price.

Built on tools you may already use: Zapier or Make, Google Sheets, Gmail and Slack. Any software subscriptions are billed to you directly by those providers.

What this build does not touch

This build only handles inquiries. Client tax documents, SSNs and bank details stay in your secure client portal.

The form, the Sheet and the emails carry contact details and a short message only. The auto-reply asks senders not to email documents.
